EXECUTIVE Coaching

At senior level, the gap between good and exceptional rarely comes down to capability. The capability is there.

What gets in the way is subtler. The patterns that run automatically under pressure. The beliefs that shape decisions before conscious judgment has a chance to intervene. The identity that hasn't quite caught up with the role.

Who this is for

Senior leaders who know they could perform more effectively and with more ease. CEOs navigating the particular pressures of investor-backed environments. Executives stepping into bigger roles or carrying more complexity than they've held before. Leaders who are clear on what they want to achieve and want support getting out of their own way.

The typical client is not early in their career. They are accomplished, operating under significant pressure, and dealing with challenges that standard leadership development does not address. They want rigour, not reassurance.

What makes this different

Most coaching focuses on the external. Goals, strategies, behaviours. CN8 works on both dimensions simultaneously.

The external work is about the results you want to create. Clarity on objectives, decisions, relationships, and how you show up in the moments that matter most.

The internal work is about what's driving your current results. The thought patterns, habits, and beliefs that are producing outcomes you don't want, and the identity questions that sit underneath all of it. Understanding what your brain is doing under pressure, and developing the capacity to work with it rather than against it.

The combination of these two dimensions is what produces lasting change. Insight without behavioural shift is interesting but not useful. Behavioural change without the internal work rarely holds under pressure.

We bring close to two decades of operating experience, combined with deep expertise in coaching, psychology, and the neuroscience of leadership under pressure. That means the work is grounded in commercial reality, not just personal development

What it involves

Engagements typically run six to twelve months, structured around your specific context and goals. Each programme begins with a thorough understanding of where you are, what you want to achieve, and what is currently getting in the way.

Where appropriate, this includes a Hogan personality assessment, providing an evidence-based picture of your style, pressure behaviour, and underlying drivers that informs the coaching work throughout.

What changes

Leaders who do this work describe a shift that goes beyond the specific goals they came in with. Clearer thinking under pressure. Better decisions in high-stakes moments. The ability to lead from a place of genuine authority rather than constant effort.

The results show up in the boardroom, in investor relationships, in how their teams perform, and in how the role feels to inhabit.
